Volunteer Opportunities in Columbus, Ohio
Charity Newsies couldn’t do what it does without our volunteers.
There are many different ways to get involved and volunteer to support our mission. In 2025, Charity Newsies hosted over 60 volunteer groups including corporate groups, community partners, and individuals who collectively put in thousands of volunteer hours.
This work is essential at ensuring that the clothing items we distribute were properly sized, sorted, neatly folded, and prepared for the clothing distribution season.
Additionally, we offered more than 2,000 volunteer hours of clothing distribution, which is a great way to connect with the families we serve by directly providing clothing to parents/guardians and kids.
