- Clothing is to be picked up at our Headquarters at 4300 Indianola Avenue, Columbus, OH 43214.
- An appointment confirmation will be sent within one hour to the email provided on your application. It will include a scheduled date and time for pick-up, along with a summary of the children on the application and the clothing sizes requested.
- Application changes must be received a minimum of 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment date. Email changes to clothing@charitynewsies.com.
- Appointments are computer generated and cannot be rescheduled for any reason. Please do not call to reschedule an appointment.
- You are responsible for picking up your clothing on the scheduled date and time emailed to you.
- The clothing may be picked up by a friend or relative. The person claiming the clothing will drive to Charity Newsies on the appointment date and park in a numbered spot and follow the directions listed below. Appointments are set during regular office hours M-F. No weekend pick-up is available.
- Follow the parking lot signs (enter & exit) to the pick-up area. Please park in a marked spot and text your arrival as per the posted signage. Directions may vary on a daily basis but will include sharing the last name of the parent/guardian that registered for the clothing, the Card # assigned (can be found in your confirmation email), and the parking spot #.
- A volunteer will bring the clothing to your car and load the bags into your trunk.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please remain in your vehicle during the pick-up process.
- Children are not required to be present during pick-up. We do not provide school excuses.
- Do NOT bring pets.
- There will be NO access to our bathrooms or building for any reason.
- Children are allowed one assortment of clothing per school year. We fulfill the clothing based on the school chosen and clothing sizes selected. Application changes must be received a minimum of 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment date. Clothing cannot be exchanged once it is picked up. Email changes to clothing@charitynewsies.com. Please include the parent/guardian name, card number, date of pick-up and child name in your email. We will email a confirmation back once the changes have been updated.
- If you miss your original appointment, you may come back on any open** day Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 1:30 pm and your order will be filled while you wait in a numbered parking spot. Please have parent/guardian name, card#, and original pick-up date available to text when you arrive.
** Closed holidays. Open August 1st - early November. Closed September 25th due to private event.
