Be part of a global movement by making a difference for kids locally!

Giving Tuesday is all about celebrating each and every single act of generosity we have to offer. Create a ripple of good by ensuring that a Franklin County school child has the clothing they need for school.

Every child served by Charity Newsies receives a brand-new coat, hat, gloves, underwear for the week, six pairs of socks and three pants and three shirts for school!

Our Mission

The mission of Charity Newsies is that no child shall be kept out of school for lack of adequate clothing.

Our Impact

Charity Newsies provides children enrolled in school from kindergarten through 12th grade in Franklin County with brand new clothing. We serve children by providing them with socks, underwear, pants, shirts, a coat, hat and gloves. Children attending schools with dress code requirements receive compliant clothing. For children who attend schools with uniform requirements, we provide a uniform voucher. Charity Newsies has providing clothing to almost 800,000 Franklin County children since we were founded in 1907.
