DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT: YOUR GIVING TUESDAY DONATHON GIFT CAN DOUBLE!

  • $300 becomes $600 – enough to clothe 4 children for school
  • $150 becomes $300 – enough to clothe 2 children for school

Want to volunteer for our Charity Newsies Giving Tuesday Donathon so that you can remind others to invest in kids by reaching out to your friends and families at our phoneathon on December 2?

Answer the Call! Clothe them All! Children throughout Franklin County face so many challenges to succeeding at school and graduating high school. Far too many of our children lack the clothing they need to meet dress code and uniform standards at school or have the necessary basics to get to school, like not having a coat, hat and gloves to stand at the bus stop.

Charity Newsies has a singular mission of removing clothing as a barrier to school attendance and success. When you support the Charity Newsies Giving Tuesday Donathon your gift will be matched so that it can double in value!

Dont miss your chance this Giving Tuesday to have your support go twice as far! Want a reminder to double your impact this year?

Our Mission

The mission of Charity Newsies is that no child shall be kept out of school for lack of adequate clothing.

Our Impact

Charity Newsies provides children enrolled in school from kindergarten through 12th grade in Franklin County with brand new clothing. We serve children by providing them with socks, underwear, pants, shirts, a coat, hat and gloves. Children attending schools with dress code requirements receive compliant clothing. For children who attend schools with uniform requirements, we provide a uniform voucher. Charity Newsies has providing clothing to almost 800,000 Franklin County children since we were founded in 1907.
