We have taken applications for over 9000 children. We are now scheduling into late October. Please do not contact us for an earlier appointment.
Should you have ANY changes to your existing application, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the necessary changes. Please allow 24-hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-1pm) for a response.
Many schools have a dress code. Your packet will conform to the school selected. Be sure to select the correct school. We are not able to exchange clothing once it has been claimed.
Here are some REQUIRED items you will need to have in hand BEFORE you begin the online application process:
- You MUST be a resident of Franklin County.
- Last 4 digits of Social Security Number or TFIN of parent or legal guardian
- Last 4 digits of Social Security Number of each child to be clothed
- Know the name of the school your child(ren) will be attending
- KNOW THE SIZES that your child(ren) wear!! (This is required and extremely important in order to provide correct sizing.) We are unable to exchange clothing, so please double check sizing. Allow room to grow, as children will receive one set of clothing per school year.
- We DO NOT clothe foster children.
All clothing applications will be on-line only for the 2021-2022 school year. No in person applications will be offered at our headquarters or public libraries as in previous years.
Appointments for curbside pick-up will be set in one hour increments between the hours of 9am-noon, Monday thru Thursday. Appointment times will be emailed within 3 hours of application confirmation. Please check your junk or spam box if you don’t locate your message.
Children are eligible for one set of clothing per school year.
Clothing Packets will consist of one winter coat, knit hat and gloves, 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, 6 pairs of socks and underwear. All clothing will conform with the published uniform and/or dress code policy of each child’s school. For schools that allow a uniform only, a uniform voucher will be provided in lieu of the shirts and pants, as applicable. A shirt/uniform voucher will also be provided for those schools requiring a school logo shirt in lieu of the standard shirt selection.
Clothing is non-exchangable. Please select the proper sizes for your children. Measurements for items are included in the drop-down choice menus.
Curbside Pick-up. Children do NOT need to be present in order to pick up the clothing packets. Upon arriving, please stay in your car and a Newsies representative will come to you. Please have your confirmation email available for them to check. If you are unable to make your appointed time, please forward your email confirmation to someone who can pick-up on your behalf. Please wear a mask for this process. Clothing not claimed by the Friday following your appointment date will be returned to inventory and the application will be forfeited.
