Clothing Pick-up Instructions

Clothing is to be picked up at our Headquarters at 4300 Indianola Avenue, Columbus, OH 43214. 

An appointment confirmation will be sent within one hour to the email provided on your application. It will include a scheduled date and time for pick-up, along with a summary of the children on the application and the clothing sizes requested. Application changes must be received a minimum of 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment date. Email changes to clothing@charitynewsies.com.

Appointments are computer generated and cannot be rescheduled for any reason.  Please do not call to reschedule an appointment.  

You are responsible for picking up your clothing on the scheduled date and time emailed to you. 

The clothing may be picked up by a friend or relative.  The person claiming the clothing will drive to Charity Newsies on the appointment date and park in a numbered spot and follow the directions listed below. Appointments are set during regular office hours M-F. No weekend pick-up is available.

Follow the parking lot signs (enter & exit) to the pick-up area. Please park in a marked spot and text your arrival as per posted signage. Directions may vary on a daily basis, but will include sharing the last name of the parent/guardian that registered for the clothing, the Card # assigned (can be found in your confirmation email), and the parking spot #.

A volunteer will bring the clothing to your car and load the bags into your trunk. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 
*Please remain in your vehicle during the pick-up process. 

*Children are not required to be present during pick-up. We do not provide school excuses.  
* Do not bring pets. 
* There will be NO access to our bathrooms or building for any reason. 
 
* Children are allowed one assortment of clothing per school year.  We fulfill the clothing based on the school chosen and clothing sizes selected.  Application changes must be received a minimum of 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment date. Clothing cannot be exchanged once it is picked up.  Email changes to clothing@charitynewsies.com.  Please include the parent name, card number, date of pick-up and child name in your email.  We will email a confirmation back once the changes have been updated.  

Clothing not claimed on the assigned appointment date will be returned to inventory, the application will be closed, and the clothing will no longer be available for pick-up. Any additional application submissions will be declined. The children on your application will not be eligible to reapply for the clothing program until the following school year.
